Car Parking for Students
Security Services is responsible for all types of car parking and security arrangements on campus.
For students who wish to bring a vehicle onto University property must register the vehicle. The charges for parking permits and registration certificates are reviewed annually and are circulated to students.
PLEASE NOTE NO CASH / CHEQUE OR DEBIT CARD PAYMENTS WILL BE ACCEPTED AT ESTATES RECEPTION DESKS. ALL PERMITS MUST BE PURCHASED ON LINE. |
Any student wishing to purchase a monthly / annual permit must purchase it on-line from the University Web shop. Click on 'P' link below. The receipt must be presented at Maxwell Reception to collect your permit. All permits will need to be collected from the Maxwell Reception. Permits will not be posted out.

Motor vehicles [including motor cycles, motor scooters and mopeds] may be parked at the University only in the official car parks and then only in the spaces marked out for parking.

Car sharing aims to make to make better use of these empty seats, allowing people to benefit from the convenience of a car while helping to reduce the associated problems of congestion and pollution. Could you offer a colleague or fellow student a lift, maybe just once a week? Or could you and a colleague/fellow student who both drive, share the driving and travel in the same car? If so, you could halve your fuel and parking costs as well as reducing the wear and tear on your vehicle. |
